About Us
We are the Edmond Lacrosse Club (ELC), located in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Our mission is to provide a recreational lacrosse program that provides a positive lacrosse experience for both boys and girls, regardless of their skill level.
In the spring of 2006, the City of Edmond Parks and Recreation department established the boys and girls lacrosse program in the city of Edmond. Since its inception, the program has shown substantial growth; with an overall increase in player participation of 231%. As a result of this growth, in the spring of 2008, a group of parents and volunteers incorporated as a non-profit Oklahoma corporation to assist Edmond Parks and Recreation with promotion of the program to include marketing, fund raising, and scholarships. In June of 2009, Edmond Parks and Recreation transferred primary operational responsibility of the lacrosse program to the Edmond Lacrosse Club, Inc.
The Edmond Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers to provide the children of central Oklahoma the opportunity to learn and play the sport of Lacrosse, the fastest game on two feet.
Welcome to Edmond Lacrosse!
