Grade Divisions

Scoopers K -2nd grade Co-Ed:

(players must be enrolled in appropriate grades and not older than 10 by Aug 31, 2012)

This is a developmental, limited contact co-ed program which will consist of four sessions to teach basic skills followed by six game days. At the completion of the "skills" days, the players will be divided into teams. Each of the game days will include a 30-45 minute warm-up and group drills before the games begin, games will follow modified rules (no contact- 7 vs. 7). The games will have referees but the scores will not be recorded and standings are not maintained. All games will be held at fields located adjacent to Cheyenne Middle School .

The goal of the Scoopers program is to promote an environment that emphasizes fun while developing lacrosse skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. We want our players to develop a life-long love of the game of lacrosse.

As a part of registration, each player will receive their own stick. This will be theirs to keep, these sticks are smaller versions of the standard sticks and will provide a better learning experience as the kids develop lacrosse skills. A pinnie is also provided to each player.
